Use our price charts below to 'ball-park' your book printing costs. The
charts below are only to be used as an estimate, and we reserve the right to revise our price upon receiving your
manuscript. We will notify you immediately, and before production begins, if the price changes, giving you the option of continuing with production or returning your
manuscript.
Glossary & General Prices:
CAMERA READY
The price charts below are based on or receiving Camera Ready hard copy from you (a paper copy of your originals). A disk containing your copy can be submitted, but additional charges
may apply for original output. Any artwork, layout,
paste-up, disk correction or output will be billed as additional charges. Halftones (photographs) cost an additional $10 each for screening. There is no additional cost for line art incorporated in your manuscript.
DESIGN AND COVER
The design of your project, especially the cover, can alter any estimate. The estimate
for your book cover using the pricing charts below are based on small to medium ink coverage on a medium grade (price) stock, with no
overprint, large ink coverage, traps, varnish, coating, or laminating.
FULL COLOR
You might consider printing a full color (4-color) cover or dust jacket for your book, or full color text pages. If so, please note that full color printing costs are in
addition to the price chart . Here are some estimates you can add
to the pricing chart if you want 4-color cover or pages.

HARD CASING
You might also want a hardback book. If so, note that hard case binding costs are in addition to the price
chart. We cannot furnish a proper estimate until an exact page count and size is known, as well as a few other details. However, hard casing costs range from $6.00+ for a few copies to $2.00+ for larger runs. Dust jackets cost additional too (if full color, refer to the
general estimates for four-color text or cover price chart). Here are a few estimates for hard casing to give you an idea of your
cost.

PRICING CHART
All prices are FOB our plant in Greensboro, NC, meaning you pay the freight. The
price chart below represents per book price for the quantity and number of pages
you are looking for. The chart is based on printing 2-sides on 20# bond paper, in black ink, from your camera ready copy, and binding into a perfect bound (paperback) book.
